Ultrasound tooth cleaning

The deposit:

The deposit accumulates on the surface of the teeth from food and drinks consumed daily. Next to the remnants of food, the deposit attracts bacteria too. The deposit can easily be removed by tooth brushing. In this case, calculus does not develop, because the source of it is everyday deposit.

The cure:

  • thorough tooth brushing several times a day

  • using calculus removal devices

  • consuming less sticky food, high in carbohydrates

The discolouring:

Coloured food (coffee, tea, etc.) and smoking develop a thin, dark grey layer on the surface of the teeth. The discolouring can be eliminated at first, later it remains after tooth brushing, too. It is not necessarily calculus yet, rather an aesthetic problem.

The cure:

  • thorough tooth brushing several times a day

  • Air-Brush salt polish, natural tooth whitening

Calculus:

Calculus is made of the deposit remaining on the teeth and salts absorbed in the saliva. The rough surface causes inflammation on the gum. Because o the inflammation, the bone that holds the tooth starts to decay. The process involves the loosening of the teeth in the long run.

The cure:

  • ultrasound calculus removal

  • dental hygiene cleaning

The inflammation of the periodontium:

Periodontal inflammation can cause serious problems. Calculus that sticks to the neck of the teeth for a long time causes inflammation in the deep. Because of this, the bone can decay. If there is a genetic susceptability (like decreased immunity in the mouth), the teeth can lose with time.

The cure:

  • ONLY PREVENTION! Continuous dental hygiene treatment half a year

  • if it has already developed – the treatment is possible with dental hygiene methods and laser periodontal treatment
